So now it’s 2 for 12 on our bivvy a month for 2017, it’s going well so far. Big Si’s birthday was a good excuse to get out and maybe visit a public house on the way too. Decent weather and a couple of decent rides so all was good.

I’m loving the DD superlight tarp and Bearbones carbon poles I got for my birthday, finally getting to pack a lot lighter than previously, so it’s nice to have a relatively low bike weight for a change. All of my sleep / shelter stuff will now go in the bar bag.
