On the ride up to the bivvy spot it was so foggy we could barely see past our handlebars, we’d taken the scenic route to one of our favourite bivvy spots and the fog meant it took quite a bit longer than expected. On the plus side though it meant Mike beat us to it and got a nice fire going.
I decided to go a bit upmarket and as well as my usual pasta I bought camembert to put in the fire and some breadsticks, it made a rather nice winter snack. What with that and the usual Bourbon and Biff’s “Fireball” cinnamon whisky a very pleasant evening was had by all!
The skies cleared and we were treated to a starry night and a beautiful sunrise.
The breakfast of champions before heading out for a beautiful ride in the sun.
